Sarah Palin's crib notes

He just did it!!! He said "um", at 12.17!

This is terrable, the Preisdent said "um"!

Ill say it again, for just a taste watch the last Q and A... if you have the time to be impressed see the entire thing.

Dixie, you clearly did not watch any of it!

Oh yes, I watched about 10 minutes of him stumbling through his "uhms" and "uhhs" to articulate what I am assuming was supposed to be some kind of "thoughtful" answer... I mean, that's why we get the "uhms" and "uhhs" along with the contemplative pause in the middle of every sentence, it shows us that he is such a thinker! The thing is, what takes him 20 minutes or more to answer, could be answered in three words or less, and most of the time his actual statements, will give all possible answers to the question! Then, when they review the public opinion polls the next day about what eventually came out of his mouth, they can decide which "official" answer they are going with!

That's because he hasn't been asked a question yet! It's typically the FIRST word that comes out of his mouth, when asked a legitimate (non canned) question on ANYTHING!

We are on the fourth question, Ive only heard one "um"! You should watch this so you know what you are talking about!

Obama does use a teleprompter frequently, but sorry - all Presidents used either that or notes. Reagan famously used index cards for everything, even private meetings that weren't televised.

But, Obama is also pretty smart w/out it. You guys generally complain that he gives too many press conferences, but he's not afraid of them (see: Bush), and he's good in them. He knows his stuff.

I don't fault Palin for having some notes, though it's pretty funny she wrote them on her hand. I don't think she's that bright, though; she proved that again & again in the campaign.

Bush could not even read a teleprompter.

It's one thing to have notes of say, important data points, budget figures and the like, but she had "tax cuts" on her fucking hand (and had to strike out "budget"). How hard is it to remember "tax cuts?"

Bush is one of the worst public speakers we have had in any national office in the history of the union.

Which is why it's always kinda funny to me when his biggest supporters on here have anything at all to say about Obama's speaking ability...

:lmao: You are certainly NOT a very good judge of "bright" Onzies!

I actually like the "she's not very bright" attacks, because of several things... 1.) Those who have listened to her speak, know it isn't true because of what she has to say... the content of her message disproves the criticism. 2.) Anyone who may be "independent" or "moderate" in their opinion or view of Palin, is going to be intrigued enough by the allegations she is "not very bright", enough to actually listen to her message... (see 1.) and 3.) It exposes the LEFT-WING FRAUDS! If the most left wing of liberals actually DID think Palin was "not very bright" they would not concern themselves in the least over what she had to say, much less spend every moment of every day, searching for some reason to rail on her like they did President Bush. I mean, we kinda understood Bush Derangement Syndrome, the man narrowly beat the Democrats twice to win the White House for 8 years after the Clinton Glory Years, so that obsession was somewhat understandable. This obsession with Palin is interesting, particularly if she is "not too bright."

Ah, BDS strikes again! There IS no cure!

My definition of "bright" also includes being knowledgeable.

Palin is a good speaker, and good at BS - a lot of her answers sound like essays I would have written if I hadn't studied the topic.

But some of the stuff that she said in the campaign was jaw-dropping. How does anyone in political life, particularly at her level, not know what the Bush Doctrine is? And don't try to deny that - when Gibson asked her the question, she hadn't even heard the term. She had no clue.

And the whole "eye is being kept on Putin in our airspace" and BS like that; she isn't a bright person. Well-spoken - not bright....

Palin is good at being cuteiesey and snarky all at the same time.... Thats how R's like there women to behave...!

As I recall, Palin actually knew more than Charlie Gibson knew (or libtards in general) about "The Bush Doctrine!" First and foremost, that there are actually several of them, and they all deal with different things, so her asking for a clarification from Gibson on specifics of what he meant, was no indication Gov. Palin not understanding the Bush Doctrine. His (and your) cluelessness about her query, not withstanding.

...And as far as United States air space on our only bordering state with Russia, you would think liberals would know this with all the books they read. You act like she was the governor of Rhode Island making that claim! I mean, Onzies... you DO realize Alaska borders Russia, right? You can Google Earth it, if you need evidence. I think her response to criticisms of her lacking any experience with foreign policy, was a pretty good one. Not many state governors do get to "keep an eye on Putin" do they?

What president has ever not used a manuscript or a teleprompter? Would you rather Obama spend his time memorizing speeches instead of working for America? Should we vote for a professional speech-memorizier, rather than a president? No one ever complained about Bush or Clintons teleprompter use.

The fact is, that Palin's crib notes were childish, they were childish on a person with child-like intellect. If this had been Mitt Romney, no one would've cared. Mental Mideget Palin looks entirely different. And she writes like a nine year old.

Palin has two constituencies: white, stupid, Republican middle-aged men who masturbate to her because they find pornography to be immoral, and white, stupid, Republican middle-aged women who find a doppleganger in her idiocy. Neither constituency is going to put her over the edge.
