Does this affect you as a woman?

I understand the feelings of the TERFs but by the same token I also understand the feelings of those who suffer gender dysphoria (I mean I don't REALLY understand what they feel, but I can understand when someone is told they are wrong for the way they were born is a harsh way to treat that person).

I think the whole gender thing is probably greatly inflated and amplified in our society. In reality I suspect the actual number of people who HONESTLY FEEL like they were born in the completely wrong bodies is quite real but rather small.

What we are seeing here (and it, too, shall pass) is society jumping on a new idea and everyone with even a modest sense of "not fitting in" is trying it on for size. Give a few years and you won't see men walking around in skirts with full beards and bedazzled faces. But we will still be left with REAL PEOPLE with REAL NEEDS that are not our own.

The TRUE test of our humanity will come then. Will we simply allow them to fall through the cracks while we march over them? HOpefully not.

Basically what I'm saying is: relax. It's gonna be OK in the long run. Don't fear societal change. It happens all the time. And you've already lived through countless of them in your life.
