Seattle is dying

Anyone remember what Salt Lake City, in the red state of Utah, realized, and did? I feel it ironic, that the people many other Christians pushed away, are showing the wannabe Christians out there, how it's done.

Did these other Christians encourage street junkies to live in the streets and spread refuse, human waste, and hypodermic needles all over their cities?

If you're talking to me, I'll tell you. Salt Lake City, found out it was easier to just give homeless people housing. It actually ended up being more cost effective, as opposed to dealing with them on the streets.

That's not what they did in the vid. And the city wasn't SLC. That's what we've done here and the problem has increased so the mayor says the solution is higher taxes for more apartments for inebriates. And keep criminals out of jail. Same as Seattle.
Now where is Seattle (or Portland, or San Francisco, or Atlanta (yes, Atlanta)) supposed to house those thousands of street people in a high density city like Seattle where housing is extremely expensive?

Build concentration camps.

That's nice, I am happy for you.. We all rest a lil better knowing you are safe.... :)

Did you actually have a comment on the topic or just trolling from your safe place today??

So much for you claims about me, BOY. I'm still looking for the list of those for which you claim I voted. I notice you run to your safe place and hide from doing things like that. With the crime rate where you live, it doesn't sound too safe.

Will you post back with one of your sock accounts? They seem to be your safe place.

Not if you deal with them in the proper way.

That's not helping. That's enabling freeloaders to be freeloaders. Christianity doesn't support a freeloader mentality.

The Bible says those too lazy to work, let them starve. Which of course is just and right. The issue is how to keep the streets clean and safe, and dealing with people with issues other than laziness. I've already given the answer in this thread.

What does that have to do with anything I mentioned? The only way to deal with the drug wasted, is to get them help. A true Christians main objective in life, is to lift up, and help their neighbors, and community. To try, and emulate Christ in those regards.

(CNN) — Melbourne has finally lost the title of world's most liveable city after a seven-year reign.
The Australian city came in second place on the Economist Intelligence Unit's 2018 ranking of the world's most liveable cities, missing out on the top spot by just 0.7%.
It was pipped to the post by Vienna, which received an overall score of 99.1% on the annual list, which assesses stability, healthcare, culture and environment, education and infrastructure in 140 different cities.
EIU attributes Austria's capital's rise to the top to increased security scores due to a return to relative stability across much of Europe after high-profile terrorist attacks in recent years.
Melbourne's unseating isn't the only noticeable shift after years of very little change among the highest ranks. https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/worlds-most-liveable-cities-2018/index.html

The UN-Habitat classified Vienna as the most prosperous city in the world in 2012/2013.[40] The city was ranked 1st globally for its culture of innovation in 2007 and 2008, and sixth globally (out of 256 cities) in the 2014 Innovation Cities Index, which analyzed 162 indicators in covering three areas: culture, infrastructure, and markets.[41][42][43] Vienna regularly hosts urban planning conferences and is often used as a case study by urban planners.[44]

Between 2005 and 2010, Vienna was the world's number-one destination for international congresses and conventions.[45] It attracts over 6.8 million tourists a year.[46

Dominik Nepp (FPÖ) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Ludwig Vienna was always traditionally the stronghold of the Social Democratic Party. In the city council (Gemeinderat) elections of 1996, the SPÖ lost many votes to the FPÖ. It received around 39% of all votes, the FPÖ around 27.9% and the ÖVP 15.2%. This changed in 2001, when the SPÖ jumped to 46.9% and the FPÖ shrank to 20.1% and again in 2005 when the SPÖ gained to 49% and the FPÖ shrank further to 14.8%. The 2005 results meant that the SPÖ was able to hold the majority of seats in the Vienna city council and rule by itself without coalition partners. The current governor-mayor of Vienna is Michael Häupl.
