I see. So the case against trump is that he was anxious to lead the insurrectionists to the capitol. Perhaps to peacefully protest, perhaps to break inside it . We’ll never really know for sure, will we?
Do you really believe he’ll be convicted of being anxious to do something ?
And that something could be legal as in a peaceful protest?

He either will or will not be charged with something in connection with his attempts to remain president after Joe Biden beat him badly in the 2020 election.

I have no idea which it will be. But for the sake of our Republic, I hope he is charged and found guilty of something. I doubt he will ever serve time in prison, but I think it would be enough if found guilty and sentenced to home confinement...even if it were "home confinement" at Mar a lago.

He is scum...and I would love to think he would forever be precluded from running for any elective office in the future.

MY side? I’m one the same side as you. I don’t want Trump to run either. But at least I’m rational enough to realize he’s not getting convicted of… “something”.
