Isn't a BA just a dumbed down BSc. in the US?
A BA is mostly just an "I attended this school for the required hours" degree...
I run into people with masters and PhD's in liberal arts that can't figure out how to do percentages on a calculator without a % key on it... Linear algebra escapes them. There was another time when I was dealing with this "industrial specialist" who came to do time studies and such. He'd sent his stuff ahead for me to look at. I started in on him about regression analysis and non-linear regression using logarithms and all I could think at the time--he had a heavy southern accent--was I'm talking to Gomer Pyle...
