Sidney Powell Pleads Guilty in Georgia Trump Case

Sidney K. Powell, a member of Donald J. Trump’s legal team after he lost the 2020 election, pleaded guilty on Thursday morning to six misdemeanor counts instead of facing a criminal trial that was to begin next week. She was among 19 defendants, including Mr. Trump, who were indicted in August for their efforts to subvert the election results in Georgia.

Ms. Powell, 68, who appeared in a downtown Atlanta courtroom, was sentenced to six years of probation for conspiracy to commit intentional interference of election duties. That is a significantly less-severe outcome than she would have faced if found guilty of the charges for which she was originally indicted, which included a violation of the state racketeering law.

She was also fined $6,000 and agreed to pay $2,700 restitution to the state of Georgia, as well as write an apology letter to its citizens.

Prosecutors said in court that Ms. Powell had given them a recorded statement on Wednesday as part of her plea deal. She has agreed to testify against any of the 17 remaining defendants. Ms. Powell has also agreed to turn over documents in her possession related to the case.

Sometimes it is easier and cheap to just plea guilty to a misdemeanor that to have a long protracted expensive fight with the government who has unlimited resources.
 
She is an insider. She was involved in the plots with fake electors and trying to steal the election for Trump, the thief in chief. She will tell the truth about the plots.

The natural progression for Conservatism is for it to eat itself since it has no policies, beliefs, or ideas of merit.
 
It was clear that the Trump, Rudy, Bernie Kerik and Ken CheeseBro, were all planning to throw her under the bus as the brains and execution of this plan who duped them all. Bernie Kerik was seeking his own immunity deal to testify to just that.

Now with her help, if Ken CheeseBro is found guilty, as the first domino in the chain, it will make the rest of the cases that much more tight and easy.

This is the first smart thing Sydney has done.
 
I actually would be more surprised than not, if Ken CheeseBro does not seek and take a deal. He would face some jail time but he has to be worried about spending the rest of his life in jail.

They all will, in the end, except for Donald Trump- the target of the investigation. Donald Trump is so stupid, and so morally and ethically inept, he committed to the devil early in life to never admit any guilt.

But, one by one, all others will, because no one wants to go to jail for Donald Trump- EVEN GIULIANI!

So now that Sidney has pleaded guilty, the rest, all but Donnie of course, will be beating down the doors to the courtroom to now arrange for speedy trials, plead guilty, and get this legal sledgehammer off of their chest and move on with their lives.

Here is what they are facing after their guilty pleas though- THEY CAN NOW BE USED AS WITNESSES FOR THE STATE- and if they are a licensed Attorney, they will be challenged by the Bar in their own states, as to whether they can practice law in those states ever again, after pleading guilty to a federal crime.

In other words, Donald Trump has ruined every one of their legal and other professional careers.

Donald Trump destroys everything he touches!

If you can't do the time- PLEAD GUILTY, TAKE YOUR LICKS, AND GET BACK TO YOUR FREE LIFE! 6 years of Probation is better than having to serve all that time in jail!
