Yep, and apparently a few people still trust the governments decisions making abilities. So because we got stupid people, we must make sure all children are stupid, so we don't make those few stupid ones feel bad ;)

Well, we felt sorry for the liberals so we let them take over and run the schools, indoctrinating the kids from K through 12. We felt we needed to give them a chance. Unfortunately they whine about teaching math so that kids can pass a basic test.

Did you know that if they actually teach you to understand the math, you will pass the test without being "taught the test"? It's an amazing thing, understanding.

Very good! You do earn that A+, you should be so proud! Whoever was it that told you there were always right and wrong answers in math? Your parents? LOL! Thankfully so much has changed from 35 years ago! I know they want to to know your 'facts', but they just don't mean what they once did. It's a process, dear.

Did you know that the US is the only nation in the world that attaches funding for schools to standardized tests? Or uses standardized tests at all?

This is why we have such a great edumacation system.

No, we have a shitty education system because the socialists insist on treating every child equally--- whereas in other countries only those students that have a hope in higher school continue on to more advanced education, while the others continue on to learn a trade.

Our obsession with education, combined with our need to enhance self-esteem rather than learning capabilities, is what has made our education system the way it is today.

I can think of about 10 different countries in western Europe who have excellent schools despite not practicing your fascist "only possible method'.
