Slick Willie Still Good for Something

So far the only thing made up is the righty suspicion that we gave something to get those women back home.

If we did give or do something, do you think it was wrong?

Would those who think it's wrong have the same criticism if the rescued individuals were military?

yeah....only the right thinks that

i ask again....if we did, is that negotiating with terrorists?

why were they there to begin with, is the big question?

touchyliberal.... Translation: Yurt got back some of the BS he usually gives out, and he (or she) doesn't like it.

i won't ever ask you a question again... You rarely do....unless it's some rhetorical BS to avoid a point of information from me that disproves your contention/assertions. i had not seen anyone who was mad, so i asked you to show me.... I did that, and you have YET to acknowledge that simple fact. Grow up. And you really believe that with your history on these boards anyone will by this act of yours? Sorry to burst your bubble, but the recorded post make this attempt of yours quick silly

apparently you're very sensitive so i won't do so again, i wouldn't want you to strangle yourself from your twisted panties

and from the OP genius:

Although the White House and the State Department steadfastly insisted that the former president -- the husband of Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton -- was on a "private humanitarian mission," the trip came about only after weeks of back-channel conversations involving academics, congressional figures, and senior White House and State Department officials, said sources involved in the planning.

take it up with them if you believe their wrong....but no need to get all pissy

When are you EVER going to learn how to comprehend what you read? What did you previously say, mastermind? You said, "...show me one person who is mad about this....you as usual make stuff up about those who do not share your political beliefs "
So NOTHING you post here changes my response, which was this ".... And the White House statement was that it (meaning the President) did NOT send Slick Willy over with a specific ". If you remember, the neocon buzz was that Slick Willy was carrying a specific message from the President. That wasn't the case.....he was authorized to go there and negotiate the realease, obviously...given his past status and history. See bunky, it's all in the DETAILS ( of which you have yet to supply a link for your quote.

Once again, you've pissed your pants trying to condescend with intellect you don't have. Carry on.

You're out of your league Yurt....stop making an ass of yourself.

Umm perhaps just the first respect we have shown North Korea that axis of evil bunch in over 8 years?

Do not expect to get respect without giving it.

again...according to the WH:

But White House spokesman Robert Gibbs told reporters in Washington before the announced agreement that Clinton was not carrying any message -- written or oral -- from Obama.

Gibbs added that the former president last spoke with Obama during a White House visit in March. He described Clinton's trip as a "solely private mission to secure the release of two Americans."

http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/asiapcf/08/04/nkorea.clinton/index.html

Hey jackass....where is the PROOF that Clinton did carry a private message? What is being done here is SPECULATION....which neocon parrots keep mistaking for bonafide FACT!

HIP HIP HOORAY !!!!!! Once, again, Bill gets the gal. Or in this case, the gals, plural.

What a MAN!

If only.............alas, all a guy can do is look up to Bill as a hero. Superman pales by comparison.

The only think being reported is that President Clinton is very popular there, and that his visit bestowed honor upon N Korea and Kim Jong. There is no hint of any "deal", though relations might possibly be warmed because of this. I guess that is a bad thing. There exists a faction in this country that prefers war. I think they belong in mental institutions, but others disagree and claim that war and death are fine things.

I do think it's very funny that the cons are shreiking like schoolchildren who just saw the boogeyman over this.

They are nothing if not entertaining.

touchyliberal,

you need to calm down....i never said anything about bill carrying a private message...so i have no idea why you are asking me for PROOF

the only thing i've said is that

1. who said obama had anything to do with this. when challenged by maineman who absolutely believes obama is the guiding force behind this, i showed gibbs' statements...however, conceded that it is unlikely obama had nothing to do with this

2. i see damo's point that everything was worked out before hand and it came together rather quickly and it seems odd that it would happen that way solely because clinton gave a photo op. however, i don't know any different and it is possible that the photo op with clinton was such a boon to the little dicktater, that the photo/meet alone was enough

why wouldn't he be popular over there? He did give them nuclear technology that they were able to turn in to weapons manufacturing.

and this crowd really sucks. I wasted a perfectly good joke in post #2.

Truer words were never spoken.

LOL, preach it sister.

wow, after a cursory read through this thread, I'm surprised how bummed conservatives are. Its like they wanted those women to stay in a north korean labor camp.

Souls as black as hell.....that's the take away message

what were these journalist doing over in there to begin with?

touchyliberal, ahh, so you're adding this to your debate arsenal along wiht "meadowmuffins" and "shrug". Another indication that you've got nothing to offer but repetitive rhetoric.

you're full of it as usual, Yurtle old thing. All you do is insinuate, speculate, imply, allude to, but YOU CAN'T STATE ANYTHING AS CONCRETE. What's worse, you don't even remember what you previously wrote, which makes this current drivel all the more moronic. http://www.justplainpolitics.com/reputation.php?p=485826

You're a joke, Yurt....a prime example of bitter neocon numbskulls grasping at any straw to try and discredit the Obama administration on all levels....just like I said.

beinjg investigative journalists... and, they claim, never in North Korean territory. Why are you so upset that they are now free? Did you really want two Americans to be imprisoned in North Korea for no reason? Or does the fact that they are both asian devalue them somehow in your eyes?

I don't know about the racial angle, but the mere FACT that suddenly neocons are NOT dancing in the streets that N. Korea (part of the "axis of evil") couldn't get its way and Americans were freed speaks volumes.

Just goes to show how full of it the neocons are. They don't give a good God damn about people, just their twisted PNAC ideology.

To paraphrase their own attack on Obama:

What would the RW hacks be saying if ex prez gw bush went to N. Korea and brought them back?
He'd be in line to have an airport named after him if they had their way, after the ticker tape parade that is!
