Washington, D.C. lobbyist Jack Burkman said on Monday he is preparing legislation that would ban gay athletes from joining the NFL, according to a story in TheHill.com. Burkman, who got the idea for the bill when Sam announced he was gay two weeks ago, claimed in a statement he had political support for the bill but neglected to mention from which specific lawmakers.

Lets walk through this... 'straight guy' comes out and tells us how 'digusting' he finds homosexuals.

1) Most homophobics are actually closet homosexuals lashing out at their own natural instincts because they have been taught it is wrong.

2) Homosexual men don't tend to be attracted to women, so they may indeed by misogynists as well when they try to suppress their natural feelings of not being attracted to women and thus lashing out because they want to like women, but just don't.

The major reason America is anti-gay is religion and our Christian founded nation. My bible says I'm not to condone gays. Today's debate is, "What does it mean to condone gays". Does it mean I have to use government to make laws to prevent gays from being a part of my nation? No, because our nation has Freedom of Religion and not all religion's are anti-gay.

The people using their bible and law to control other people's actions haven't read the Constitution or Mathew 7:2

Well, basically, your average homophobe is deathly afraid of developing platonic love relationships with other men and otherwise expressing affection for other men due to his homophonia. In fact, oftentimes the homophobe will mask these love feelings towards other men by engaging in aggressive male behavior, oftentimes at the expense of gay men ("Dude, you're such a faggot" *punch on the arm*) and women (by objectification/sexualization), which is where you run into the misogyny.
