It looks to be a publicity stunt. The guy is with a very powerful lobbying group, why would you bring this type of negative attention to himself?

Someone should break the bad news to the poor fool - soldiers are already taking showers with gays.

They have been for quite some time. Like, you know, since showers were invented for instance.

None of this has to do with ability. That's what's important. If you are good enough to play in the NFL you will play in the NFL, doesn't matter your sexuality or gender.

I do not think at present that there is a woman capable of physically playing football with the men, but if the future there is a such woman, I thinks she should be given the opportunity.

What if the government forces the NFL to let women play NFL football? Are you going to express your outrage at the government for doing that?

The NFL is discriminating against women on a gender basis. You have repeatedly said that the only difference between men and women is gender and you have yourself put up a stringent argument based on that for allowing women in combat units.

So you would support a bill that forces women into the NFL as long as they can prove that they can act as a member of the team?

Exactly, there have been women entering other men's sports, golfing, NASCAR, wrestling, and in the future if they can meet the criteria, as you said, they will play.

The government will not have to legislate anything.

The government isn't forcing anything here; this one individual is trying to pass a law to prevent who can play.

I have always stated that if a woman is physically capable of doing a man's job that she should be allowed.

Woman were in combat situations and it is only recently that they are getting credit for it. They may not be physically capable of being in the special forces, but some men can't meet those requirements, either. Women have been in support units that have been in battle and were able to perform quite adequately.
