There's quite a difference between voluntarily helping those in need and the government forcing people to do for others what they won't do for themselves. If a person is truly in need and didn't cause their situation, I have no problem helping them voluntarily. However, for those that caused their own bad situation and now thinks it's someone else's responsible to pay for those bad choice, I'll let them do without.
