Social Security in the U.S. is a Ponzi Scheme

In a comedy it's funny due to it's ridiculousness, but this is the actual situation with ss and it's far from funny.

Ok so how about instead of running it like a ponzi scheme the Govt actually invests it for you after confiscating it?

Disability could be an entirely different fund. Of course people would actually have to be disabled in that case unlike now where fraud is rampant.

Then at least you could eat wet cat food.
So what if they invested it in Trump companies? We would have nothing. You do not risk it. Any investment would be in government bonds.
Show your work. There are disabled who are unable to work. Is there some cheating? Sure, and they make good TV. But people seize on the rare cheaters to justify not helping anyone, ever. Disability is not a separate fund. That is a fact. Your speculations are irrelevant.

Who in the fuck is talking about Trump? Is everything about your Daddy now?

I bet you're one of those phony disabled SSDI parasites aren't you?

Let me understand this, because it isn't making much sense.

SS is a forced retirement plan that is automatically deducted from your paycheck. Eventually, they have to start paying you back.

The Ponzi scheme is not the SS system, but what they do with your money after forcefully extracting it from you. They hand you an IOU, one you will be forced to pay interest on, and spend the money to cover deficit spending. The worst part of this scheme is that it is not "security" by any stretch of the imagination. You can't live on it. It didn't provide interest for all those years it was being taken and you can leave it to your survivors like a real investment.

SS is not an entitlement. It is paid for by working taxpayers.

AND you pay taxes on what you are given when you finally collect what you put in, just a kick in the nuts to retirees.

That's interesting, you haven't given the person transportation to work, health insurance, utilities like heat and electricity, clothing. Then you forgot about holidays where the person wouldn't get paid to work unless they were in a service industry of some sort.
Auto insurance - $1000
Gas for car - $600
Electricity - $700
Gas for heating home - $1000
Health insurance - $3,600
clothing - $400

Not if they want to actually get to work and have heat and light and electricity to charge their phone and run their internet.

So you admit that your claim is bullshit when you say they can retire with a million dollars.

As we can see, you have not provided valid numbers at all since you forgot much of what a person has to spend money on to live.

No. You didn't do anything other than show us that you are so stupid you have never been able to live on your own since you have not clue as to what a normal person has to pay for to live.
His icon is most apt for a MAGA troll ..... a noisy little bird that's full of shit.

1. Your return on your "contribution" is -4%. That's NEGATIVE 4%.

2. If you die unexpectedly, your "contribution" is absorbed into the system, your family sees $0.00.

3. If you were to actually invest that same money into an IRA, most people would retire millionaires, and if they died unexpectedly,
their family would have access to that wealth.

4. The Social Security tax is just another failed attempt at Collectivism.

5. Your "contribution" is not properly invested by the Government. It is literally used to pay the SS checque to retired people now.

6. Social Security should be phased out, allowing people to invest those earnings tax-free into a retirement portfolio, so they can
actually retire in comfort. A new system should be implemented to help people that are actually destitute.

7. Look at your pay stub. Actually look at it. Understand that you are being robbed. That "contribution" isn't really a contribution.
It's not voluntary. It is forced upon you. It is a tax. Stop believing the lie.
Your revisionism and myopic meanderings border line of full psychotic fantasy.

“Social Security is the biggest Ponzi scheme of all time.”

It seems neither you or the Apartheid Punk understand how the Social Security system works. Did you know that by IRS rules and law, if Social Security is your only source of income, you don't pay taxes? That's because for many recipients their SocSec does NOT meet the COLA. Or that by merely raising the "cap" you dump serious bucks into the SocSec fund, keeping it solvent for decades to come?

I know it's a LOT for you to stop parroting your myopic mumblings and actually THINK using ALL FACTS available but give a try. It won't kill you.

You are completely fucking clueless. You dipshits have lost everything now but your arrogance. Not a good look.

I am not and your charge has no logic or sense to it. I care about others. Trump and his minions are attacking SS. Did you not know that?

That's interesting, you haven't given the person transportation to work,
This person has two legs to walk on. Walking doesn't cost anything. Bus fare is another option for this person and it is fairly cheap ($780/yr in my neck of the woods). Add $780 onto his yearly expenses if you wish, otherwise this person lives in an apartment that is close enough to where he works so that he can walk to and from work each day.
health insurance,
This person gets health insurance through his employer; that expense is taken out of his paycheck pre-tax. I've already included that expense in my calculation.
utilities like heat and electricity,
This person lives in an apartment and utilities are included in the rent rate. I've already included that expense in my calculation.
clothing.
Donations don't cost anything.

Otherwise, add a few dollars here and there if you wish. Often enough, shirts and pants can be purchased for a few dollars each if you go to the right places or take advantage of the right sales. Lots of people sell clothes at garage sales for a little of nothing.
Then you forgot about holidays where the person wouldn't get paid to work unless they were in a service industry of some sort.
This person gets paid for the typical holidays that private-sector workers get paid for (New Years, Memorial, Independence, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc) 2,080 hours/year is a standard guesstimate for total hours worked per year (40hrs per week, 52 weeks per year). This person might also have overtime opportunities and work overtime for extra money.
Auto insurance - $1000
Why are you assuming that this person owns a car? Maybe he walks to work each day. Maybe he rides the bus each day. Maybe he rides bike around. Auto insurance isn't a part of this person's expenses.
Gas for car - $600
See above. Gasoline isn't a part of this person's expenses.
Electricity - $700
Included in this person's rent rate.
Gas for heating home - $1000
Included in this person's rent rate.
Health insurance - $3,600
This person has health insurance through his employer and that rate is taken out of his paycheck pre-tax. Already accounted for. See above.
clothing - $400
Clothing does NOT have to cost $400/year. Not even close. See above.
Not if they want to actually get to work and have heat and light and electricity to charge their phone and run their internet.
This is all included in my calculation. See above. See my prior post. The math is there, dude.
So you admit that your claim is bullshit when you say they can retire with a million dollars.
I'm "admitting" that YOUR claim that they "can't" retire a millionaire is bullshit. See above. See prior post. See calculations.
As we can see, you have not provided valid numbers at all since you forgot much of what a person has to spend money on to live.
I forgot nothing. See above. All necessities are included (and I was even quite generous with phone/internet).
No. You didn't do anything other than show us that you are so stupid you have never been able to live on your own since you have not clue as to what a normal person has to pay for to live.
You've done nothing other than show us that you have absolutely no clue how to read, comprehend, perform basic math calculations, or even how to "pinch a penny".
