I have never done it...although I have been known to tear up a bit when it is played as part of a ceremony for an American winner at the Olympics. Mostly I dislike the anthem being sung...the "stylizing" mostly sucks. And I don't think it is an especially inspiring melody. The Russian and German anthems are majestic. The Star Spangled Banner does not come even close to them in what I consider proper anthems.



I have no idea of why you see what you see...or why you do not see what you do not see.

In fact, it amazes me that you do not see that Donald Trump is one of the most classless, disgusting persons ever to hold the office of president of the United States...and that he is an insult to our nation and its people.

Are you predicting the players will become violent? Won't that contradict their message of concern about "police brutality"

How many player protests have you seen post season? I haven't seen any. Why not? Does police brutality only occur during the season?

And why pick that moment to protest? Is kneeling during the national anthem the only way the players can get their point across?

BUT PLENTY OF THE PEOPLE WHO DISAGREE WITH THOSE PROTESTS...ARE ANTI-AMERICAN TRASH. And protesting against them is protesting against anti-American trash.

I've seen dozens. Players peacefully protesting by a taking a knee.

If you haven't seen it...you are blind.

I did read what you wrote. So what is your definition of "anti-American trash" as it pertains to these protests and the people who disagree with the how the players are "handling it".
The situation is worse. That's why the protest needs to be reorganized and reimplemented...
We get it..you dislike President Trump. But that's not what this "protest" is about, is it?
Are you trying to tell me that the real reason for protest has been lost and replaced by just acting out for political purpose?

Seriously? Where have you seen players taking knees since the season has ended? Are they doing it randomly in public?

I have every right to judge what they are doing and whether or not I agree with it. As long as they continue down this path, I will no longer watch their product. I suspect enough have done it that it got the NFL owners attention, hence the new policy. If the owners were really caving to Trump, they would have caved last year.

I suspect you will see that they are a lot smarter than you think.

They WILL accomplish what they have set out to do...they will revise tactics if necessary.

MY GUESS: You will see more protesting...in various forms...rather than less this next season.

I use to swear by briefs. For years now it has been boxers. Combined with Bermuda's it is much easier to pee on the golf course...a need that happens a lot more now than it did when I favored briefs.

Going into the City to meet my sister in from California today. No golf. Oh, well...I play four days a week anyway.
