Again... WHO runs the fucking city Darla?

PRETENDING this is self defense doesn't make it so. Only a fucking idiot would proclaim it was self defense as this police chief did. Therefore it is NOT adhering to the state law or Libertarian views. It is upholding the racist views of the sheriff... a sheriff elected in a heavily democratic precinct.

So you can pretend all you want that this is a Libertarian view affecting this case. But it clearly is not. Unless you are suggesting that it WAS self defense???

Well I've seen a lot more southern social conservatives harp about States Rights than Libertarians. I do agree with you that when I hear somone start harping about "States Rights" it's ussually done to rationalize denying others their civil rights, as was done during the slave era and as was done during the Jim Crow era.

Definitely southern cons. But it is a part of Libertarian philosophy as well. I mean, Ron Paul is huge on state's rights. As for on the internet, that's something I'll notice more going forward - who are the biggest supporters of state's rights?

So what do you think about people in San Francisco who b*tch about the federal government coming into our City and overrulling our medical mj rules and stating the federal government should stay out of our business?
