Steelers QB and former OSU star Dwayne Haskins struck and KILLED by car

Just looked it up. Like I thought...1 year contract worth 2.5 mill,..NON guaranteed meaning if he gets cut 2 weeks into camp he gets shit. For comparison sake......Jimmy Garrapolo,...pretty AVERAGE QB,...he gets 27 mill this year,...guaranteed contract.

It would be interesting to know if he was in debt, and if so how much.

Trust me,...I forgot more about football than you ever knew. He was a total bust that was going to battle for the second string job AT BEST. Also,...those kind of players dont get the same kind of contracts as the legit guys do. It was a one year contract only. Most of the guys at his skill level arent on guaranteed contracts meaning if he gets cut he only gets a small portion of the years salary.

I'll take the opinions of his coaches and teammates over messageboard experts. I mentioned already that it was a one-year contract. The Steelers are rebuilding with younger players and decided to give Haskins another chance based on his skills. They had high hopes for him. I don't know why you people think it's cool to trash him and his wife; is it a personal vendetta, or what?

"The NFL’s official draft profile of Haskins the following spring touted his “explosive arm talent.” Roethlisberger, a future Hall of Fame quarterback who was also a first-round pick, would marvel at Haskins’ arm strength soon after practicing with him as a teammate for the first time last year.

“His release and throwing motion mechanics are some of the prettiest I have ever seen,” Roethlisberger said in June. “I told him I wish I had that. I joked that he could throw it through a car wash, and it wouldn’t get wet.”

By all accounts from Tomlin on down and via teammates, Haskins was well-received among the Steelers. That the organization offered him the contract tender this spring despite the presence of Rudolph and newly signed Mitch Trubisky on the roster backed up that he had been a welcome addition over the past year."

Well - it may have been a suicide. We don't know. Anyway - if you want ugly, look at all the lefties who support pedodent biden even though they know he is a child molester.

Only you conspiracy theory-addled loonies think Biden's a child molester. You're all beyond hope. You should be locked up where you can't hurt somebody when the delusions take over.

I am not trashing the man at all. I am just saying that he is not a very good NFL player at all. Quite bad in fact. Teams sign guys like that all the time Christie,...they tell them they have a shot when they KNOW that they dont. They end up just USING them as a CAMP ARM if you know what that is and then cut him when preseason is over. I guess I could LIE if you want and say how great he is when everyone KNOWS he sucks if you want.

Furthermore Christie,.....do you know what his QB rating is.....74. THAT is horrific. To be considered even average you have to be at least 90. Studs like Stafford, Brady and Rogers are up over 100. Rogers is a guy that will throw 35 to 43 or so touchdowns a year and only have 5 or 6 interceptions on the season. Haskins threw MORE interceptions than he did touchdowns which is awful,...no starter or even 2nd stringer can do that,...totally unacceptable. Like I said,...he sucked. Horribly inaccurate. You are wrong.

He was not a first-string QB and only played one game in 2021 so of course his rating is low. In Ben's last year Haskins was the 3rd-string QB. Haskins wasn't first-string in Washington, either. He played a total of 16 games in 3 years, between Washington and Pittsburgh. My point is that the Steelers coaches thought he showed enough promise so he got the one-year contract.

I and the other fans were looking forward to the new season and seeing his potential. Maybe you're one of those glass half-empty kind of guys.

I heard they were afraid of being called racists if they kicked him to the curb, but they were going to cut him anyway.

So he threw himself in front of a garbage truck.

He was drafted in the FIRST round to be the starting QB in Washington. He WAS the STARTER there,...but not for long because he sucked. Thats why he didnt start......he was no good. And btw....ratings are ratings,....they dont go by how many games you play or if you start or not... QB rating is your stats. His suck badly whether you like it or not.

What's your point?

The guy dies tragically - and your first thought is to convince others that he was bad at football?

I just heard it again!

:D

 They let go a number of black players after the season was over, along with white players, because that's what the NFL does. If you really heard it, which I doubt, it must have been on one of your favorite sites like WorldNutDaily or Faux News.

I heard it from a personal friend of the second cousin twice-removed of the uncle's aunts of one of your Queen's many conveniently-remembered relatives.

A Story for Every Occasion™.
