Steelers QB and former OSU star Dwayne Haskins struck and KILLED by car

I did a little reading into this guy last night....lazy, unwilling to grow up, and a bullshitter......that is why he was almost completely washed up in the NFL even though he had enormous raw talent and was only 24.

This thread brought them out like roaches out of the woodwork. Not that I'd ever expect decency from a con.

Please note that I said nothing about the mans character or life in any way outside of football. I was merely giving you the lowdown on his football abilities. I have no idea the kind of guy he was in his personal life.

He headed to the NFL after his breakout year and Washington selected him with the No. 15 overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, anointing him as its starting quarterback in the first month of his rookie season. He wound up starting seven games before an injury cut short his rookie year.

Haskins entered his second season as a team captain and starter, but only started six games before being benched for poor play. Washington cut him before the end of the season and Haskins later signed with the Shittsburgh Squeelers. He did not see any game action last season and was still under contract with the Squeelers, hoping to compete to replace rapist Ben Roethlisberger, who retired in January. In his NFL career, Haskins started 13 games and completed 60.1% of his passes for 2,804 yards, 12 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

His wife beat him up.

I heard these two were driving the truck.

Gil Brandt, the pioneering Dallas Cowboys scout best known for helping construct the franchise's first two Super Bowl teams, used an appearance on the NFL's SiriusXM channel to make cracks about Haskins' decision-making and manner of death.

Asked about evaluating Haskins when the quarterback was entering the draft following a historic season at Ohio State, the 90-year-old Brandt described him as "a guy living to be dead," criticized his decision to leave school early and speculated "maybe if he stayed in school a year he wouldn’t do silly things," alluding to Haskins reportedly getting hit by a truck while walking on an interstate for unknown reasons.

ESPN's Adam Schefter received widespread criticism for describing Haskins as "a standout at Ohio State before struggling to catch on with Washington and Pittsburgh in the NFL" while reporting his death.

Looks like that ancient crypt keeper walked back his words today. Too little, too late and too bad he wasn't the one on the highway.

None of the cons posting said anything nice about the guy. Your choice of trash talk was to denigrate his abilities.

I am not a con but I do have a problem with lazy people who waste their talents as they spread bullshit, and then when they predictably fail commit suicide as he likely did. I also have a big problem with Mind Molders who decide that I dont have the right to know the truth about how people die.

You're effing nuts if you think these words can only be a suicide note. "'It is what it is’ will keep you at peace." They can refer to anything in life, but you're not smart enough to think it out.

I am smart enough to not cross an 8 lane interstate on foot...Haskins was not!

Haskins net worth was 30 million...he could have got a cab!!! Hell he could have got a Limo

If you were as smart as you think you are, you wouldn't have jumped to that conclusion based on little or no evidence. You could have taken a wait-and-see approach but you jumped to the worst case scenario.

No, not when we get lied to as often as we do, not when power decides that I dont have the right to the truth.
