How do you explain the consistent refrain from the Mind Molders "We have no idea why he was on the road"?
What I said was true,...every word of it. I wasnt guessing, it wasnt conjecture, nor was I just making shit up. It was fact. He may well have been a fantastic guy, I have no way of knowing. But he was a terrible NFL QB that had no future in the game. Probably not even as a backup and surely not as a starter. Having said that,...I am sorry the kid died. Its a shame for anyone to pass away so early.

A couple of things.........
The future looked bright for Haskins. SO good, he probably had to wear shades!
If you ever tried to cross a freeway, you'll know, it is very easy to miscalculate how fast oncoming traffic is going at 65 MPH!
And Dump Trucks or any Tractor/Trailer combinations, are not allowed to swerve or jerk the wheel or the Rig will roll over and wipe out everything across 6 lanes.
And the same thing goes for locking up the breaks- The rig would go into a spin and jack knife and wipe out everything around it.
So these kinds of incidents will happen and the Truck Drivers can't help but hit the pedestrian if they walk right out in front of them.
Personally, I believe Haskins misjudged the speed of the oncoming traffic, or forgot to even look, and made a tragic mistake that got him killed.
