Still Don't Think the Pandemic is Trump's Fault?

Thanks for the morning laugh Jerome (and as if there aren't already hundreds of threads on this topic). We have a global pandemic that started outside the U.S. yet it's the President's fault? That's some amazing power.

Now to be clear, you will get no argument from me against the position that Trump reacted too slowly because he did. However that is VERY different than claiming he caused the pandemic and is responsible for how other countries handled it. Not sure how much power you think the President of the U.S. has over other countries actions in this type of scenario.

It's also an inescapable fact, that when President Trump did react, he was chastised and ridiculed by Democrats and their media cohorts. Furthermore, the President has more than made up for lost time, literally moving heaven and earth to get us to this point. How much do you hear about the "ventilator crisis" these days?

Trump isn't responsible for the existence of the virus. He is responsible for the pandemic in America because of his failure to handle the virus.

I see. So he’s responsible for it reaching out shores? Maybe I haven’t paid close enough attention. How would the President prevent it from arriving in America?

"to get us to this point?" You think "this point" is a good place to be?

Trump has failed miserably in leadership, what has been done is due to the Governors. When in a "war," as Trump has said we are, individual States competing against each other, other countries, and even the Federal Gov't in attempting to secure needed resources shows there exists a total lack of leadership at the top, the "war general" is failing at his job

I believe his point isn't from "reaching our shores," but rather the consequences of the slow recognition and action leading to the quick spread of the virus across the country

Bullshit.

You just agreed that his reaction was too slow but you don't understand why I'm saying that this is his fault?

How does one engage in that level of cognitive dissonance/willful ignorance?

Really? So he responded to the first case within 12 days and that was too long? :palm:

Meanwhile, Democrats were fully engaged in his impeachment.

Yes he was; and being impeached by the Democrat controlled House.
