Beyond difficult. 185-200lb is a two man job, no matter who's standards you go by. Employers don't like Workman's Comp claims. And that weight equals safety issues.

Gotta agree with that. Our batteries are 125 pounds; while our battery delivery guy seems able to haul them, when we're installing we use two people (me and someone else). Can't imagine lifting 185 to 200 pounds alone and having my back survive.

Untrue.

One job I had was to drill and tap steel doors for the door closure mechanisms and the push bars.
I had to pick them up from a pallet, carry them for about 6 ft, put them on the table, drill and tap one side, flip them over and drill and tap the other side, and then carry them another 6 ft to another pallet.
They weighed 200lbs each.
I figured it up one day and I had moved 16 short tons (2000 lbs = 1 ton) of doors.

Do you still live in a world where EVERYONE can go to college? That is a fantasy. Not everyone is equipped for college or even wants to go, and those that do, how many never complete?

You know, funny you should mention that...that's exactly the point liberals are trying to make. Not everyone IS equipped to go to college. Those that aren't equipped do not deserve to live in poverty.

How long ago....or, or short ago was that? Also....do you work for someone, or are you self employed?

Oh yeah, well I once worked as a cashier at Flower Time, and I was always assigned to the outdoor booth because they trusted me not to steal, and during christmas tree season it was freezing in that booth, AND I was forced into making out with the hottest yard guy there to keep warm in between his packing up christmas trees.

So...Okay? Yeah.

LMFAO

So not sure why you're comparing that to a worker at a fast food place who would be make a lot less than you and didn't get the benefits you listed.

Glad you got compensated decently for it.
Yeah sorctease wtf is your point comparing the pay of an Ordinary Seaman to that of a minimum wage earner?

I had good jobs as an Able Bodied Seaman, but for 10 times the day rate you mention.

On my first day I worked the grill cooking literally thousands of patties with my "training" consisting of one guy showing it to me during the downtime when I got in, maybe 10 minutes, then during the next downtime they began showing me how to assemble the sandwiches. The next day I was assembling sandwiches. In about a week I was working every position in the store during dinner rush.

Yeah, a person off the street with no experience can actively participate as they meet customer's expectation.

Yes, but USAFREDOM would require 20 hours of intensive one on one, with a highly skilled instructor.
