The type of government would make little or no difference. The government of S.A. made a deal with terrorist groups to allow them their Madrassas so that they would agree not to attack within their borders as often as they would like. This isn't perfect but it sure has made it so that there is not constant attacks in S.A. as there would be otherwise.

It doesn't matter that S.A. is a kingdom and Iraq will be a religious democracy. Either form of government can deal with the devil and often will to get rich.

If the Iraq war is going so well, why aren't REPUBLICANS cheering it and loudly blasting not only the democrats, but also the nearly 70% of the American people, INCLUDING REPUBLICANS who are against it?

Why did they spend so little time talking about it during the debate?

The arguments about Iraq and "terrorists" there are so mindlessly dumb it's hardly worth the effort proving it. Anyone that blind wouldn't recognize truth if it bit you in the ass.

Keep whining about "dims" .. leave the serious thought to adults.
 
In 10 years, 20 tops, Iraq with be a part of the United Islamic Republic. Shi'te's will run and gun from Iran to Iraq. And the overthrow of Saddam with be the birth of it.

The Bush Administration and the right handed Iraq to Iran like a wonderful Christmas present .. and all it cost us was about a trillion dollars, tens of thousands of dead and wounded US soldiers, and the loss of US power, influenec, and stature all over the world.

First of all that is the majority population in those regions, god forbid if the ethnic peoples rule their land, and personally I find it uplifting, and possibly transformational that a large swath of that region will grow up in a new way, the free exchange of idea's will get more than just religious extremism indoctrinated into them. It's the only way you're going to change something that is breed into a generation.

I guess I thought it would just go without saying that the region will become less stable and more favorable to terrorists. A United Islamic Republic will NOT be a good thing WRL. It will suck for the whole world.
