Relax everyone. I was just listening to Faux News on the way home from the YMCA. There aint nuthin to all this Mueller stuff. Mueller is tricking people into lying with "perjury traps" designed to catch people lying, you know, like not remembering the exact date of an email or meeting or who called you one day a couple of years ago. In fact, before the investigation started, there were no crimes, Mueller and the 12 angry Democrat Hilly and Obama lovin FBI agents made it all happen. Trump is nearly a saint. I can almost see Fox being ran off the air, it is nothing but propaganda 24/7.

IF the Republicans in the House would initiate the impeachment proceedings...I would say...go for it. And I am talking about a significant number of Republican...at least a dozen...preferably more. This CANNOT be a partisan undertaking...or even a perceived partisan undertaking.
If the Democrats initiate the impeachment proceedings...this country is going to be torn apart...with riots and chaos. We will be ruined as a Republic...and end up being a laughing stock...WITH A HUGE NUCLEAR ARSENAL. (And as a partisan move...this has no chance whatsoever to end in conviction. It will be nothing more than showtime...which might be a greater defeat for justice than just leaving it be.
The "cure" may be worse for our Republic than the proposed "cure."
That is my take.

I don't want to see the Dems go at this half-baked. I would much rather see Mueller conclude his investigation before that. And if that gives the Democrats a red meat reason to make a case, then it is their job to convince Republicans they have to impeach one of their own. I don't think the House should initiate impeachment strictly along partisan lines. Agreed, that would be bad.

Me? I'm going to keep as open a mind as possible about this. I've made it clear what I would like to see happen in the event that serious charges are brought against the President. But hey. If he's clean, no big. We'll just do everything possible to vote him out in less than 2 years. His record is enough to get him tossed at the ballot box, going up against a generic Dem candidate.
