Well, I was thinking that too- that his tax dollars fund the military services, and your pension is paid from tax dollars, so you do work for him ...

but then I thought maybe he's one of the 48% who for reasons of poverty or being only on social security or having a zillion tax deductions don't pay any federal taxes, so maybe you don't work for him.
 
ps - when I say "I was thinking that too" I admit I wasn't thinking about the whole "shit paper" part of your statement... just the first part.
 
He CLAIMS to have a big income. Maybe he's lying.... or maybe he just cheats on his taxes like a true teabagger would. If he DOES pay taxes, he does pay me my pension. For him, I HOPE he feels like it's a burden. lol

I will never criticize ANYONE for not choosing to serve their county in the military. It is a choice only some of us make. But I'll be damned if I will sit and listen to ANYONE who did not serve, criticize, ridicule, fold, spindle or mutilate the service of another. Especially when it is some internet tough guy fake patriot.

It is not only my right, but my duty, to pay as little tax to GovCo as possible. In fact that is the #1 priority that I set for my accountant and financial adviser.

Your share of my burden? I doubt it even registers.

I actually don't take every single deduction that I could; I do the major ones, but don't do them all. I don't look for elaborate tax writeoff schemes or anything. And I even give a few bucks to presidential election funding thing.

And that's about all I'm going to say re my taxes; I realize I opened myself up to that question, but I think any further details are my business and the govt's business.
 
oh -and by the way - I don't complain about taxes; it's what we pay to have a civilized country, so I don't whine or say I'll only pay the bare minimum, even when those taxes are used for things I don't support.

We had a fire fee imposed on our county (as did many rural counties). I don't like it because I think it should be shared by all counties; but I'm not whining about it.
 
As far as I'm concerned the Federal government has ignored the Constitution and grew itself into a big, fat, glutton for more of my money. I'm making them beg and scratch for every penny, even if it costs me more in accounting fees.

If you are using accountants to do that, then it is legal, or at least you can't be held accountable, so more power to you.

I believe he told someone close to him to beat the shit out of his face, so he could have an alibi. He needs to go down...."hard". What you hire him to do has to be legal. You can't hire an accountant to do something illegal, and you're liable even if he makes a mistake.

I hired a CPA once who used the wrong form on a quarterly payment. The payment was correct and on time, but FedCo fined me $2000. I told them I wasn't going to pay so then they took it out of my account. Then they took another $2000 for the pleasure of it. Then just for fun they notified my five largest clients, in writing, that they had fined me.

FedCo hates small business so screws with us whenever it pleases them. We don't have the resources to fight them.
