Read the friggin bill. It was first and foremost about normalizing all the illegals in the US and giving them a 10 year path to citizenship. The rest of the stuff, like border security, was just some minor sops to get the Left of Center Republicans and RINO's to vote for it.

The Republicans were for the bill before they were against it, Terry. It was a stepping stone. Anyone who thinks a bill is perfect is an idiot.
Now, thanks to Trump and his MAGAts, what do We, the People, have to show for it? Nada. Zip. Nothing. The old status quo....which, IMO, is exactly what those mega-rich business owners and political donors want; a quasi-indentured servant worker base to help keep wages down and profits up.
MAGAts, whether they are smart enough to see this or not, are supporting suppressing their own wages by being against immigration reform.
With something so urgent as immigration why cant we for once pass a CLEAN bill? Why! It's a forking immigration bill,....why should funding for Ukraine and Israel, and any number of other things be included in the bill? Sooooooooooooo fed up with Washingtons bullshit and the way things work. If anyone was ACTUALLY truly serious about addressing immigration they would offer up a CLEAN bill,....but they dont and in my estimation never will. Corrupt to the core. It's who they are....

They should pass a law making it illegal to put pork and other BS in any bill period.
If a bill has merit it will pass on it's own and shouldn't need pork and other BS in it to pass.
