I saw the Avatar sequel. I hadn't been the movies for years prior to that. The first thing I noticed was that the actual movie doesn't start until about 30 min after the scheduled ticket showtime, due to mostly previews.
The second thing I noticed was that all the characters in the sequel were wearing Nike t-shirts and driving Chevy trucks. <----- The second thing is a joke
And you are more likely to buy a Nike t-shirt based on that movie (if popular) than a TV ad. And, the movie saved money on wardrobe.
I saw the original Avatar and noticed the bad guys were corporations and the military. I think these things influence us more than any biased news programming.
