It's actually a natural and good process: Younger, new minds run into more conservative, experienced minds. The young tend to leap before they look and the old tend to not look at all. Reason and sound human progress is found somewhere in the middle.

If what is being shown doesn't favor Euro-American maleness, instead of switching channels, they want to stop it and ban it from being shown to anyone.

Of course. Furthermore they have been around for a VERY long time. But heres the rub.........Without US...they cant survive, in fact they are nothing,...powerless. Well, the corporations ARE the bad guys. Nader was right in 2000. The sooner everyone wises up to that one, the better off we'll be.

The whole "money is speech" ruling was so absurd, and something the founders would have been absolutely flabbergasted about.

As for the military - I will only ever praise and be grateful for our fighting men & women. But the leadership, in conjunction w/ our political leadership, has used our military very poorly - and not unlike the way it was portrayed in that movie. We shouldn't be involving our military in other countries just because we want the resources those countries have.
