Almost 400,000 weapons are stolen every year. I think being able to track them would be good. Yeah, responsible gun owners have lost millions of weapons.

You could have actually picked examples that compare the same things. Countries that have strong gun laws have far, far fewer shootings. In most cases almost none. Some had gun laws as stupid as ours before they changed them. Allergy medicine is not a good comparison.
