Actually, field soldiers crush most things. Special forces mostly made breakthroughs for the field soldiers to go through and crush things.

So you think Germany and Japan could be crushed by a thousand or so soldiers?

Nazi Germany destroyed itself.
Japan surrendered when it was bombed by two atomic bombs.

FDR has nothing to do with either event.

Neither nation was crushed. Both nations still exist today.

The current form of government in Japan is a republic.
The current form of government in Germany is a federated oligarchy.
