practically, as you experience enough relationships, you realize you will inhabit the master and the servant role, so don't be an asshole, and understand what others need, and the value of your contribution.


found a book on transactional analysis one time. its kind of an old tool, but highly useful for managing your relationships.

I am an Eastern Mystic I assume you know....Zen, with an affinity for the Tao.

Jung, Alan Watts, Thomas Moore (Care of the Soul) are three of my primary teachers from the West.

I get the feeling that you have the education to feel me, but regardless thanks for the convo....it is quality conversations that I am after...that which has become so rare.

I feel you on the Christianity...I am a guy who spent several decades on a spiritual quest, which accounts for much of what I am, which was at times torture but I would take back not one bit ot it.

I get the idea that you have some idea of that which I speak.

I think so.

it's a war just to maintain a basically spiritual worldview in our current society.

I thought about joining some monastery, but I didnt want to have to choose, or get involved in a culty situation. then I realized im happy just being the weird loser guy. it's so freeing! nfg.

It started in China. But America has the most cases and deaths by far. That is due to Trump. He had zero cases in Jan. and knew a pandemic was around. Trump simply decided it was not coming here. Evil does not come to the chosen one , the spoiled rich kid, the one who always gets what he wants....But it did and he was unprepared. The difference between America's failure and other countries' successes is Trump.
