Our only distrust with this method is the USPS. We don't trust them to deliver stuff timely. We get our ballots ~30 days before the election. We fill them out and drop them off at the township's lockbox the next time we're in town. Then we check the MI SOS website to verify that they were received and that there's no issues, like forgetting to sign the outer envelope. We've voted this way since 2020 with not a single issue.

I don't know what the big deal is.
IT IS in the Constitution , Art 2 clause 2 , I believe.
It says it is up to the states legislatures on how they want to appoint their delegates to the EC.
IF they want to have everybody that lives in the state vote no matter who they are they can. if they want to photo ID they can.
it is all up to them.
Heck the do NOT even need to hold elections the legislature can just appoint them, but again I am sure IF they did this they wouldn't have a job for long.

Yep. Any ballots with discrepancies are set aside and the voter given a chance to correct. If that doesn't happen, they are kept securely and not tallied, but preserved in case of questions or challenges.

Not a single one of these Trumpettes can provide credible evidence of mail-in vote fraud, whether in recent years or in all the decades that it has been utilized. There have been attempts at fraud, including a recent one in Wisconsin, and one guy (MAGATs both, of course) who got caught sending in a completed ballot for his deceased wife who "voted" for Trump. These two cases show us that 1) they got caught because the system works and is secure, and 2) it's MAGATs who are trying to cheat.

There is ZERO evidence that voter fraud has altered a national election.
