Those supposed quotes are largely cherry picked phrases employed to defend whatever point of view the editor is pushing, regardless of the Founding Father, if you read enough, you can find and frame a quote to support just about anything

It was the modern democrat party (progressive Woodrow Wilson) that bought JIM CROW laws to the federal level, it was the modern democrat party that admired the fascism taking place in Italy and Germany....and gave Hitler advise on how to take care of certain minority groups standing in the way of a powerful center government (it was the blacks for the democrats and the JEWS for the Nazis).
