Trump's lawyers weren't even allowed in the House hearings and they needed ZERO lawyers in the Senate where due process prevailed because Democrats never even charged Trump with a crime, (they couldn't find any again), as required by the CONSTITUTION!

They found a crime, they just thought it would be an easier sell to keep the Articles broad. I think that was a mistake, but these are the Democrats, they're known for tripping over their own dicks.
Anyway, if you want to blame someone for now having Trump's witnesses there, blame Trump. Because he knows he's guilty, he wanted to end things as fast as possible. He even bragged about how he was able to withhold evidence in the form of documents and witnesses.
