The fact is our greedy capitalists made China a manufacturing giant due to cheap unprotected labor and no environmental regulation. They moved their plants there with all the innovations and improvements that we discovered over generations of trial and error. Our intellectual properties were given so corporations could make huge short-term huge profits. GM for example had an approved vendors list, which removed almost all American companies. Walmart told vendors, No Chinese plants, no sales to them. Manufacturing metropolises were born. China's leader demanded a seat on the boards and power over the companies. They began an educational system that was specifically targeted to support the companies.
The truth is the company that manufactures something is likely the one that improves it. America will be obsolete. But CEOs l got very wealthy.

Your naivety in regards to the medical establishment just means you're prone to make a bunch of unsubstantiated assertions like the ones above. I regularly reference Children's Health Defense, as it's a very good source of information when it comes to evidence of the dangers of vaccines, so I went to look for what it had to say on polio. Finding this article was a bonus. Now, instead of just attacking the source of the information because it doesn't fit with the mainstream narrative in regards to polio, you -might- consider the evidence it presents. I strongly suspect that you didn't even click on the link. Am I wrong?
It's certainly not hard to see that Big Pharma won big with this recent spate of Covid vaccines:

Tessa Lena, the author of the Children's Health Defense article I referenced, doesn't mention 1905, but she does mention that there was an alternative to the notion that polio was caused by a microbe long before then. Quoting from the article:

Where are you getting this 1953 date? I did a quick internet search, even pro vaccine sources put the Salk vaccine rollout as starting in 1954:

There is a theory that DDT poisoning was a major contributor to paralysis diagnosed as polio. The timeline supports it, and it is one of those cases where I have to humbly accept not knowing the definitive answer at this very second.
The Salk vaccine was introduced in 1954. DDT was banned in the U.S. in 1972. Polio was officially eradicated in the U.S. in 1979. You are arguing about if it was in 53 or 54? What a waste of time that is. When polio vaccines were made, they came to grade schools, lined us up in the gymnasium, and gave us shots. It was just that easy back then. Snowflakes were nonexistent. That is why we defeated polio.
