The founders said we are a democracy

That means that anyone who wants us to NOT BE A DEMOCRACY hates the constitution and the founders

That isn't Art 1 of the US Constitution. It refers to Art 1 of INTER-AMERICAN DEMOCRATIC CHARTER which was signed in 2001.

And US founders redifined the meaning of the word democracy with their creation
 
They wanted land owners to vote


They formed this government in response to their representation as being ignored by Britain


They designed us in a way that allowed us to expand this democracy



Then we expanded our democracy
 
Passed by Congress on May 13, 1912, and ratified on April 8, 1913, the 17th Amendment modified Article I, Section 3, of the Constitution by allowing voters to cast direct votes for U.S. senators. Prior to its passage, senators were chosen by state legislatures.
 
The original design was state legislators picked senators



If you want to go backwards please explain why we should go backwards to old definitions of words and eliminate the powers the FOUNDERS INTENDED us to have

The change in the word that was created by the actions of the founders forming of a brand new type of democracy

To say the USA is not a democracy is a blatant lie concocted by those who want to kill our democracy
 
Some say because we vote for electors and they cast the final vote, we are not a true democracy. It is a representative democracy. But since they vote as the people vote, it s a wasted argument.

And some are trying to make it so the state legislators pick the electors no matter what the people vote for



Those people are traitors to democracy and want to destroy American democracy


Time to end electors and just do the direct paper filing of that state that reflects what the people chose


We don’t need people to physically deliver this information to a sitting Congress


Our communication system is much more reliable than people traveling for weeks by horse to get to DC
