I've only known a few German's just from my list of International clients. And they seems like nice decent people. But, I know you people from eastern Europe probably have a more negative attitude about them. But, I'll just say that WWII ended 75 years ago, and they are not NAZI's anymore predominately and most of them are ashamed of their Hitler Past!

Germanics encompass more than Germany, but also England, Sweden, Norway, Dutch, Austrians, Danes & much of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Switzerland, USA, Australia & Canada.

Hindu is an Indo-European religion.

Other Indo- European religions include Celtic, Greek, Slavic, Baltic, Roman & Germanic paganism.

Indo-European is a language group/groups of languages, not a religion/group of religions.

From what I recall Hinduism, the Vedas etc are of Persian/Aryan origin whose language falls into that wide swath of languages..

I don't see what that has to do w/ my point??

The word Hindu is derived from Sanskrit language.

Sanskrit was the Indo- European language of the Indus Valley civilization.

I dunno if I actually believe in that concept of holding ppl responsible for the actions of others, even if they are related in some manner, especially over multiple generations......

The church fully condoned the actions of spain & portugal even as many of the spiritual leaders sent along condemned their actions..

The church in recognizing these past mistakes apologized more than once I believe for their role in the slave trades.......
