The great white hope

How can that be MM when they have town hall meeting and bus the audience in that they want instead of letting people from there district in?
party officials act in concert with elected officials, but the elected officials call the shots.

red herring.....

that just goes to people choosing to run for office and for people choosing to vote for them....

when it comes down to power, your party chooses all white....that is a fact and deflecting off on the gop is just a desperate, embarrassing attempt to hide that fact

i can tell you're greatly embarrassed, if it was no big deal you wouldn't be trying so desperately to deflect on the gop

Question: Does the analysis of those who have been historically victimized count for anything, or should only white people like you decide which party best addresses the issues of racism?

it absolutely counts, never said it doesn't, in fact, i have never said one word about "their" analysis....i have merely pointed out facts as to the dem leadership and that the gop, in contrast to democratic party claims, is not the racist party many dems make it out to be....

The GOP is every bit the racist party the victims of racism and PLANET EARTH determines it to be. That's not a secret nor a mystery.

Nobody is buying the bullshit that it isn't .. not even Pat Buchanan ..

Buchanan: GOP A "Heavily White Party"

Pat Buchanan acknowledged to MSNBC anchor Tamron Hall on Tuesday that his party is facing a severe "demographic problem" in the years to come -- specifically, the GOP is on its way to becoming an all-white party.

"There's a real demographic problem with the Republican Party," Buchanan said. "It is a heavily white party, quite frankly. And as a share of the electorate, that is diminishing and Hispanics are growing very rapidly, Asians are growing rapidly, and by two-thirds they tend to vote Democratic."

Buchanan told Hall that the party is losing young people as well.

"Young people increasingly are more liberal and more socially moderate, and they move away from the Republican Party," he said. "These things are undeniable, the Republican party ... is in tough shape."

Your delusion may make you comfortable .. but delusion it most decidedly is.

I say let him keep his delusions...

the louder yurt shouts at black Americans and tells them they are stupid for voting for the democratic party...the more he point to Michael Steele as supposed proof of what a rainbow coalition the republican party really is, the more he ignores the fact that nearly all minority members of congress are democrats, the more I will like it... music to my ears! ;)

your party is not white....LMAO....

all your leaders are white, not so with the gop....your party has never had a black chair, ever, nor any black person in a leadership position

this is exactly why i am addressing the lies of the democratic party....you guys act like you're not white and that gop is racist.....both are lies and i believe the lies impact minorities even considering voting gop

Name a Republican black congressman.

Oh yeah. You can't. They're all white.

Mmmk yeah 2003 was forever ago. I always thought it was interesting that Rosa Parks actually asked him to stay in Congress.

Mmmk yeah 2003 was forever ago.

it certainly isn't TODAY.... you'd agree with that, wouldn't you?

If I asked you to name the president, and you said George W. Bush, it would be a wrong answer and if you had then said, mmmk, yeah January was forever ago, it would still be a silly response, n'est ce pas?

I was addressing the underlying substance of 1by's question, which is that the GOP in Congress is a whites only affair. There was, and still would be if he hadn't chose not run again, a black Republican congressman.

the underlying assertion is true. the GOP in Congress IS a whites only affair.

"if if's and but's were candy and nuts, what a merry christmas we would have!"

Maineman owned!

I agree son, if those evil white liberals weren't fooling the darkies into thinking we republicans are racists, we would get at least 15% of the colored vote!

Hey, Michael Steele's hip hop-outreach program is going to change all that!

Son, we need our candidates to be "keeping it real" with the young negroes....like when Mitt was rapping with the young brothers! And can you imagine the electoral dividends, if we could get Sarah Palin to rap out an N.W.A. tune? Good stuff!

Dude, JC Watts is not in Congress.

He quit .. and here's what he had to say on the way out the door ..

J.C. WATTS: Does GOP care about the black vote?

excerpts ..

For longer than I've been involved in the political process, the Republican establishment has claimed to want to provide an alternative for the black community, yet party elite refuse to show up for the game.

The more I ponder some of the boneheaded decisions GOP candidates have made of late, I can't bring myself to believe that they are serious about capturing more than about 8 percent of the black vote.

I have often said one of the reasons more blacks don't support Republicans is because they don't trust the GOP establishment. I can, without fear of contradiction, assure you the Conventional Wisdom Caucus and the Status Quo Caucus and the same-old-tired-establishment consultants are running the GOP front-runners' campaigns -- and aiming to get no more than 1/12th of the black vote.

....

Once in the general election, and safely out of the cloistered world of Republican primary politics, our nominee will want to trot out black faces -- usually black Republicans -- to try to win the black vote. This is insulting when you consider he likely didn't show up at events that were established to reach out to the black community. Trust me, these candidates will pay a price in the general election.

Watts was the republican Obama .. but they were too <fill in the blank> to take advantage of it .. then in typical "Johnny-come-lately" style, they went out and got themselves a sorry-ass-piss-poor replecant in Michael Steele .. AFTER the democrats had already elected Obama.

NOW, can you provide us with a CURRENT GOP Member of Congress .. just one?

Of course you can't.

another embarrassed liberal.....

it is the liberal claim that dems are the party of minorities....so it is stupid to then turn around and say, look, you're all white....because you can't address the fact that your party leadership, as listed by YOUR website, is all white.....

i love the deflection by the party that claims it alone is best at serving minorities.....yet they have all whitey's running the dnc party

says the stupid racist who claims steele is just a puppet....

yeah, obama is a puppet, nothing but a figurehead....the dems don't trust minorities to lead them, hence why your party's leaders are all white....

you're the racist that says blacks are stupid if they are gop, or they are simply figureheads....and anyone that votes for the dems is stupid....so to claim that i am speaking solely about minorities is another lie by the pedophile from maine

In other words, you couldn't name a SINGLE .. as in ONE black congressperson either.

.. got it.

this cracks me up......so its no big deal that your party has zero minorities as leaders.....but its a big deal that the repubs don't have anyone in congress or the senate....blatent deflection and shows you're embarrassment

hypocritical double standard that makes you guys look like racists.....when it comes to your inner circle....all white....ours, chaired by a black man, but racists like MM don't believe a black person can chair a national party, so of course he must be a figurehead....
