All the fluff aside, what the 60 minutes segment proved was this:
Stevens was warned that there was a 100% chance that AQ was going to attack Benghazi...as the third leg of their promised attacks that had already been carried out.
He chose to leave Tripoli, against Washington's plan.
Anything else is just plain politicking.
If Stevens knew of a coming attack, then the State Dept. MUST have known and in a competent administration, Obama should have known.
AND DID NOTHING....no added security, no attempt to pull Americans out, nothing.
Leaving Tripoli is irrelevant....they were after Stevens no matter where he was, it stupid to imply they were attacking buildings/
Incidentally....exactly what was this "Washington's plan" you speak of.
Was Stevens ordered to not leave Tripoli or to go into hiding or what.
