The left should chill

The Dems are reduced to a fillibuster..they have no power, they are not even holding state houses.
They need to wander in the desert and figure out why they don't speak to the working class.

At least Bernie gets it:
Bernie Sanders 'humiliated' Democrats can't talk to 'white working class' voters
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...-cant-talk-to-white-working-class-voters.html
I come from the white working class, and I am deeply humiliated that the Democratic Party cannot talk to the people where I came from,” wrote Sanders, who was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Clinton’s strategy centered on turning out the so-called “Obama coalition” made up largely of minorities, women and young people. But she’s been criticized by some in the aftermath of Tuesday’s defeat for not trying to shore up the rural, white working-class vote that helped elect her husband, Bill Clinton, to the presidency in 1992 and 1996.

and the Repubs can't get all cockey. American are tired of bullshit politics. accomplishments talk - bullshit talk walks.

Come 2018 I have no problem voting Dem again if the Repubs do a lot of SJW (R.Wing style). I don't care about any of it.

Get some good jobs, control the border, and grow the anemic GDP. If Trump /Repubs can't do it - we'll toss them out on their asses too.

All I said in the OP was that Trump clearly has issues with women. He does.
Repeating your assertion doesn't bolster your case. It just makes you look more petulant, again the reason why your attempt at concession was so transparent.

They may not even have a fillibuster. There are 4 dem senators who will be hard pressed to get reelected if they don't side with Trump on a variety of issues.

They have done an amazing job of squandering what they had following BO.

Would you at least allot that he is a sexist, who has a more archaic view of women and their role?
A "sexist"? Isn't everyone sexist? Doesn't anyone with common sense recognize that women are different than men in the way they think and approach problem solving?

Would you at least allot that he is a sexist, who has a more archaic view of women and their role? Hirings aside, obviously - I really don't think he could be a successful businessman or candidate if he maintained a '50's hiring mentality.

You're grasping at straws. Trump can't be a sexist and entrust his campaign to a woman all at once: that's a contradiction.

Why don't you admit you and the media went overboard with the misogyny thing? Trump is [perhaps was, if you want to give him the benefit on changing his ways] a garden variety womanizer. It's not a great thing but they are dime a dozen and always have been through out history.

I don't think that's true. But it's besides the point - you're trying to dismiss Trump on a technicality. You know exactly what I mean.

Trump's words toward & about women shouldn't be acceptable, and this isn't a "pc" thing. It's just basic respect. What you're engaging in right now is apologism for his behavior & rhetoric. And you do that when you say that "95%" of men think the same way. They don't. Even Howard Stern had a long discussion about this on his show - there is definitely "locker room talk" among men, but it in no way resembles the creepy, entitled and sexist mindset that Trump displayed on that tape, and with many other comments over the years.

Honestly, I didn't think at all that my statement about his issues with women would cause any controversy or objection. You sound exactly like the Clinton apologists who dismissed criticism of his affair with a young intern as "consenting adults." Give me a break. Trump is a pig when it comes to women.

It doesn't matter to me. That's not what this thread was about. I was giving reasons for why many find it distasteful to have him as our President. Would you guys deny that his views on women are not a part of that?

At minimum, he has had no regard for how his comments targeting women are viewed. All of the 'fat pigs, dogs, she's not a 10' stuff is not a "media fabrication."

what trump said on the tape is perfectly fine. He said women LET him grab them by the pussy. If they let him, then they are consenting. If you actually look at trumps poll numbers after those comments, he didn't fall much with women, just with men. I.e. white knights that dont understand that women love being grabbed by the pussy by rich successful men. It's a fact.

what is wrong by saying a women isn't a ten? Do you believe all women are equally attractive? both sexes rank the other. It's a common normal thing. Sorry thing1 but you live in a bubble. Remember, half the electorate voted for him. If his comments were really that beyond the pale, he would not be president. This is what normal actually is, you just were blind to it.

That's a rather narrow interpretation of the remarks. Yes, he did say they let you do it, "when you're a star." But he also said that he didn't even wait sometimes.

To me, that sounds like someone who has an issue trying to rationalize his issue. It's like someone guilty of sexual assault saying "they say no but they mean yes."

I believe the women who came forward after that. Their stories were credible, their reactions real, and the 'People' reporter had a half a dozen friends and colleagues who corroborated how distressed she was that day. I think it's ludicrous to think that the DNC or campaign or anyone could pay these women off to lie & emote as they did.

I know you're trolling w/ that last part (you're really been trolling a lot lately - you must be bored), but it's not a white knight thing. Like I said, that wasn't typical "locker room" talk. I thought it was creepy & embarrassing at best.

Yeah, we're going to repeal free trade agreements and the economy is going to grow. That is totally going to happen.

Not many actually liked Trump. You know this was a lesser of 2 evils thing, despite your persistent claims that the left thought Hillary was the bestest thing ever.
