The Matt Gaetz Ethics Report Is Going to Be Released After All The House Ethics Committee secretly voted to release the findings of its investigation,

Why is it important enough for two troll threads this morning? Or at all? Plus Rolling Stone....🤣
In the grand scheme of things, probably isn’t important, however, especially coming via a rare nonpartisan Committee, it does reflect upon the character of a major political figure on the right, the darling of the right wing media, who Trump felt highly enough to appoint to a leading role in his Administration

But in the end, given the right has shown that having a moral compass isn’t a character trait they find important, it will be ignored and forgotten by Friday, be surprised it is even covered on Fox other than a mention

Ok... I think you're exaggerating a bit.... But that's your choice...( I don't
think democrats should be throwing moral stones in the house...or senate....do there's that...:)) I say let's just focus on having peoplel actually get things done for the next four years...wouldn’t that be lovely?

After weeks of stalling, failed votes, and lame excuses, it seemed decided that the public would not be granted access to the House Ethics Committee’s final report on their investigation into embattled former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.). But in a surprise twist first reported Wednesday by CNN, the committee secretly voted to release the report as a final act before the end of the current Congress. Fox News later confirmed the vote.

According to CNN, the report will be released on the Ethics Committee’s final day of voting before the holidays. It is unclear which Republican member (or members) of the committee — which is split evenly down partisan lines — voted with Democrats to authorize the release of its findings.

Last month, Gaetz resigned from Congress ostensibly in a bid to pursue a nomination to become President-elect Donald Trump’s attorney general. His exit from the House coincidentally came days before the Ethics Committee was scheduled to release a report detailing the findings of their investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct, including an alleged sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl.

Many, including House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), had argued that the report shouldn’t be released given Gaetz’s departure from the House. Senators, many of them Republicans, upped the public pressure for the committee’s findings to be made public given their need to vet Gaetz as a prospective attorney general. While releasing ethics reports after the departure of a lawmaker is not standard practice, critics of the right-wing campaign to keep it under wraps have pointed to past instances of a report being released despite a member’s resignation.
Besides shutting down Pedo Don's closest pedophile friend in Congress, I see this vote to release the report to be the first sign of revolt against the incoming Pedophile-in-Chief.

The Resistance pushes forward. :flagsal:

For one thing it will once again illustrate the type of people trump choses for very important offices.
We should probably better check the resumes of everyone then... Joe's administration would be fascinating.... Is there a list of automatic rejections? ( It's fun to think about how many people here would get rejected for a job if an employer saw what they posted here....)

But but... Demand clean government, or you guys are as bad as you claim Biden is.
