Uhh excuse me? But the media has been a consistent propaganda machine for the Left and the Democrat party for DECADES!!!! Especially before the (un)Fairness Doctrine was lifted in 1987, allowing for a more diverse, and yes, Conservative media input.

Of course it was a no bid contract........ In a war zone its always cost plus.. and there is no one else in the ME with the experience and contractor relations that Haliburton has.

Shit happens.. especially in a war zone. Look, in a war zone insurance, transportation and salaries go thru the roof and logistics for material and supply sky rocket. There is NO way to bid on a job.

If Clinton had lifted the sanctions on Saddam's oil infrastructure we would have been far better off.

Haliburton is a good company.. so is Schlumberger.. I know them very well since I was just a kid.

Halliburton was paid 40 billion in Iraq. They immediately subcontracted.Workers were brought in from Turkey and other countries in damn near slavery conditions. They cut corners like any other company does.

Cheney worked in government his whole life.. His only value to Haliburton was his Washington contacts. He knew absolutely NOTHNG about the oil business. Remember that he said we would pay for the Iraq war with Iraqi oil.

I know Haliburton pretty well. Cheney was hired for his connections in DC.. and he was hired to get the US to lift sanctions against Iraq, Libya and the Stans. He didn't know anything about the oil business.

Remember, Cheney was the pinhead who claimed we would use Iraqi oil to pay for the war. Oil man? That's a joke.
