The mind of Lou Dobbs

It's not really about hate or racism, it's about wage suppression. It's the understandable and human concern about wanting to protect our futures, the same drives that pull illegals here.
Yes, but you and Dobbs always blame the wrong people for our problems. The illegals aren't the problem, AssCap, the wealth gap is.

The illegals are a tool in creating that gap. Removing some causality will help regardless of the reason behind the removal. The assumption that we can absorb any number of illegal immigrants without negative effect is simply disonnected from reality.

Lou Dobbs was absolutely correct with his reporting on the fraud of electronic voting, which he reported when the rest of MSM wouldn't touch it.

Today, there is no question that electronic voting was indeed a fraud and nearly all states have enacted legislation to address it, and some states like Florida, threw out the machines all together.

The Democratic Party did nothing to address electronic voting fraud in 2004 even when the activists were begging them to. As a result .. for more years of Bush.

Dobbs ain't perfect, but abso-fucking-lutely correct then.

But the assumption that the current number of illegals is more than we can absorb is equally disconnected from reality. Y'all tend to exagerate the problem a tad.

You -- that's an editorial "you" not a personal "you" -- are blaming the tool rather than the builder. The horse's nose is badly bruised by that cart it keeps running into.

I don't exaggerate it. You are assuming I agree with Dobbs because I promoted he was against "illegal" and not all immigration and lives a life that proves that fact.

I want the border closed because of the fact that we fight an enemy that wouldn't hesitate to use such a weakness against us.

I promote opening the front door so that people are not punished by being forced to live in squalid conditions here in the US.

And so forth.

Do not presume to give me my opinion.

Depends on what you mean by absorb. Are you a carpenter put out of work from illegals in construction? Is that 'successful absorption'?

You actually know any carpenters put out of work by illegals in construction? I didn't know the unions let illegals in: I must be behind the times. Some day laborers, perhaps, but carpenters? I don't think so.

You believe too many urban myths.

The problem is low wages, not illegal immigrants.

Hey stupid, an excess of workers DRIVES wages lower.

The unions have been for quite some time now. It is one of the first signs that it is the money from dues and not the protection of employees that is the first goal of the union.

Ceasar Chavez would roll over in his grave.

And yes, one of my brothers works in maintenance, has all his life, yet cannot at this time find a job and lost the last one to an illegal. I do know a "few" who have this same complaint.

You believe in the myth that they are only working as "day laborers".

Too many urban myths of your own.

I heard him on a local radio show talking about himself.

What is your point?

Honestly, I don't care about him personally. I was pointing out that had H2O even thought about researching a bit, he would know it isn't all "Immigration" that Lou Dobbs is against, it is ILLEGAL immigration. By removing that one word you make them sound like "monsters" and emote all over the argument.

H2O or anybody could find out about Lou if they wanted to be honest in their criticism. However it is better to emote all over and assume without regard to any part of reality.

Now show me where I did that.

You hear him on talk radio, he mentions his wife, you remember that little tidbit suddenly I'm reading the Gossip columns?

Right.

Instead of making an opinion based on a few quotes thrown out by a source negatively reporting on somebody I learn something about them before making a decision on what I think about them.

Go to his site. He doesn't have a single rational thought in his head. All he thinks is "I hate this, I hate that", not what we can do to help out the people of the world.

I wrote this after reading his website. As people have said, he's the king of false outrage.

Damo, there is NO population problem in America. We could easily fit another fucking billion in here. The land itself could probably hold 5 billion if we spread it out evenly enough. Not that I'm advocating that we pump it up that much, but space and crowding just isn't a problem. And where it's not a problem, the free market, which you don't believe in, will make room for them.
