Those are not truly connected and you are just attempting to shift focus. But that research will also employ people. So using your logic (as idiotic as it is) it must not be cut.

The point of the study is to understand what influence sexuality and gender have on obesity. It's not about solving obesity for lesbians, idiot.

Using you logic, those morons can "study" something more important than the eating habits of lesbians...

who tf cares what influence sex and gender has on eating preferances....its not even remotely important in the grand scheme of things....expecially being
16 trillian dollars in debt....

I see, now that N. Korea is threatening Nec. war, the US is reactivating a contract to buy at least 7 new interceptors that Obama canceled as un-needed....
costing the taxpayers more than the original deal....more waste.

If they feel there is a better use of the research dollars then that is fine by me. They will certainly be affected by the sequestration and I am okay with that too.

But again you are LYING or attempting to create spin on the study. It's not about eating preferences. It's about obesity. It's a huge problem and with the economic impacts on healthcare in both the markets and in government costs, knowledge of the dynamics of obesity is very important.

No, I seriously doubt that is the point of the study either. The NIH is facing cuts too. I would support more especially if they came with equal reductions in the massively wasteful defense budget. But this study has potential scientific value and has much more potential in producing economic value than the money wasted on inneffective or effective tools of death and destruction.

Like I said, I don't have a problem cutting the spending of NIH or if they feel the need to scrap this study. But, the study has scientific value. We know sexuality and gender have an effect on obesity. The study is to find out why heterosexual men and homosexual women are more likely to be obese so that we might better understand the causes. Again, you show a lack of reading comprehension and latch on to the sensational, like a child with a shiny set of keys.
