Americans want the border wall, that's why they voted for Trump in 2016.

Democrats in DC should sit down with Trump and other Republicans to get a deal done and get the border wall built.

I don't feel sorry for them in the least. The problem is they're uneducated. they aren't smart enough to realize that any sort of wall even if approved is years away. Congress will have to approve the USMCA. all of the eminent domain that is required to get the right away for the wall will be tied up in the courts for years. Congress will have to create some sort of ACT to take the land for the wall from the Native American reservations. Somebody will have to figure out a way to ban 30 ft ladders. We will have to negotiate a treaty with Mexico to ban cutting torches.we will have to band tunneling equipment in both the United States and Mexico. Mexican tourist who may overstay their visas and become illegal immigrants will have to be banned. If the wall is to work trumpsters are going to have to be serious and not just a bunch of drug-addled loons.

The wall will face lots of law suits from those whose land in taken by eminent domain. There are cases in court now that were started 10 years ago. The wall is just a Trumpian myth.
Drug cartels have huge tunnels . They transport by plane and boat. The majority is trucked through border cities. It an imaginary border designed to fool the easily fooled.

I'm not sure I buy into the notion that our so called "war on drugs" was ever anything other than an excuse to get lots of unsubstantial people incarcerated and off of the voter rolls and out of the workforce.

This is because Pelosi didn't hold Bush the Dumber to account for his war crimes, and because Obama didn't hold Wall Street to account for their financial crimes.

If both had happened, we wouldn't have Conservatives thinking they're so entitled today.

Yes, america does not hold her war criminals accountable, appears utterly bipartisan to me, Obama took Bush's 2 wars to 7, droned the fuck out of everyone he could get away with, and ran out of bombs to drop on Syria at one point.

Rightys were happy with that.Then..Trump listened to Fox Gnus and changed his mind. He decided he need 5 billion in the bill for the wall. The rightys were pleased and believed that. Trump said it is the Dems fault. The rightys all agreed again. If Trump blames Obama they will all agree. The imprinting has been completed. The wealthy needed blacks and immigrants before, like slavery and then in factories.. They were profitable. Now automation put lots out of work or into much worse paying jobs. Many more have little job hopes or an opportunity for financial security. But drugs solved a lot of that problem. They were marketed to the blacks and poor people. Again, the uneducated and poor were profitable. As that profit waned, they discoverd huge profits in jailing them. For profit prisons were able to make profit off them agai, Now we jail a larger percentage of our citizens than any other nation.
Why not take their voting rights away while you are at it. So they did. From gerrymandering, to voter oppression and denial of voting rights to those who were in jail, it was done.

You can argue that there are some wealthy and powerful people who see humans as units of profit. They are very calculating and hide behind walls and gates.
