The NRA's offensive hypocrisy

Even if they had been, they were kids. I don't see how he was threatened in any way - except his male ego.

He overreacted majorly. All the cons see is "gun" and they immediately start the narrative that he was defending himself, protecting his property and had the 2nd Amendment guarantee to threaten death to a couple of drunken kids.

Who's defending his behavior?

His wife even thought he was out of control. He ruined their lives, he will have to be disciplined in some way.

Y'all are tripping off this one man as if anyone is defending him and that guns should be banned because of his behavior.

I am not tripping at all and there are people defending this man. I just want to make sure he is disciplined for his craziness.

Nobody said guns should be banned.

What's the end position based on this man's behavior? Unless I missed it I haven't seen anyone supporting his behavior. I can't imagine even the most pro gun person believing it's responsible behavior to act this way. But are we to not sell guns to people because someone may act like this?

I'm not trying to argue for the sake of arguing here I'm just trying to understand the big picture position.
