The problem of evil

You literally Googled and posted a scientific paper which stated in it's conclusions that the emergence of consciousness remains a "challenging topic" about which we need more 'clarification'.

That's been my position since day one.

You obviously just barely skimmed the abstract before posting the paper.

Just don't Google scientific papers and insist other posters read them, when you haven't read it yourself.

Everything I posted was in service to the concept that I was proposing.

The fact that science is always provisional is a feature. I know it upsets you since you seem to hold science in disrespect for some reason. But what I posted did support my position. I am able to accept that science is provisional. You lack understanding of how science works.

I read what I posted and yes it did support what I was saying.

For the record: I NEVER SAID it was 100% proven or that it was 100% sure. Never once. Because I understand how science works.

^^ A well thought out and convincing retort.
all your shit is nonsense phrases when it comes down to it.

an inner conscience?

vague and horseshitty.

you just don't like conversation about actual good behavior because you identify with criminal deceivers.

:truestory:

JPP isn't the National Academy of Science here. It's one thing to post pithy and intelligible articles written by science journalists. But Googling for academic journal science papers and then posting them here without reading even them obviously is a blatant waste of everyone's time

Why are you upset about someone googling on JPP?

You aren't an authority on anything you post and you have to read about it.

I don't understand why googling is so bad?

So I guess the answer is that there is literally no number of times it can be explained to you.
That is correct. Cypress cannot learn, and he needs to blame others for his shortcomings. Your error was your attempt to engage in an honest discussion with Cypress, one in which you hoped to share information. Boy, did you ever step in it. Cypress has only one mode, i.e. he knows absolutely everything and he NEEDS for all to perceive him as knowing absolutely everything. This entails everyone listening attentively to whatever he says, with no one offering anything additional, much less any corrections of errors, because that would imply that what Cypress expressed was somehow NOT the final word on the matter.

You erred the moment you began to "explain" something to Cypress, to "teach" him something, in front of the entirety of JPP, right out there for all to see. Somebody might have come away with the idea that perhaps there is something that Cypress doesn't know, and that idea might be investigated further. The slippery slope in all this is that Cypress' complete, abject, across-the-board ignorance might be revealed for all to see, and the universe would end.

This is why I cited all those references so you could at least read and learn some stuff.
Well, I should hope that you never repeat that mistake.

The only commentary allowed is Dutch-Dutch's obligatory "I agree."

basically cypress needs to be slapped around like a dirty ho to get through to him.

and even then he reverts back to dumb within 20 minutes.

I'm never trusting your references again, because not only was it obvious you did not read your own reference, but the paper's conclusion actually supported what I've said from day one. Your insistence that I read whatever you just happen to frantically Google was a massive waste of time.
