“The problem with Trump is that he doesn’t read”

Not the first time Donnie has been accused of not being a "reader". LOL

President Donald Trump’s intelligence chief is exploring ways to revamp his routine intelligence briefing in order to build his trust in the material and make it more aligned with how he likes to consume information, according to five people with direct knowledge of the discussions.

As part of that effort, National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard has solicited ideas from current and former intelligence officials about steps she could take to tailor the briefing, known as the President’s Daily Brief, or PDB, to Trump’s policy interests and habits.

One idea that’s been discussed is possibly creating a video version of the PDB that’s made to look and feel like a Fox News broadcast, four of the people with direct knowledge of the discussions said....

...A new PDB could include not only graphics and pictures but also maps with animated representations of exploding bombs, similar to a video game, another one of the people with knowledge of the discussions said.

“The problem with Trump is that he doesn’t read,” said another person with direct knowledge of the PDB discussions. “He’s on broadcast all the time.”

One would read this thinking it's some superb satire making fun of Trump. Nope, it's serious.

I wonder if Trump is dyslectic and has got use to reading small words and can't handle the big words that would be in his daily briefing so he doesn't read them.
I am not making excuses for Trump , IMO he is just too stupid to be able to read.
It's possible he has a reading disorder but more likely he's just an idiot. He's slid through life on his daddy's money and the gift of gab.

On this story about Trump and reading I was once told by a very old very well connected NYC guy that Trump did read a lot as a kid....his mother insisted.

It's like they are talking about working with a toddler. What's next, puppet shows?
It's not the first time Trump has been compared to a two-year-old. Puppet shows would, indeed, be a good way to get his attention.

World leaders know that the best way to reach Trump is to throw money at him, one way or another, and to butter his ass.

The $64 Question being "Does Trump listen to Vance?"
What should worry people is here we have Trump as President of the USA and he doesn't even know what is going on around him or what is going on in the world.
This was in the news this morning , it is an opinion post but it does have a lot of good points, maybe Trump should read it.
As I said it is only an opinion post and some people here won't like it but I thought it was a good post.

This seems an expensive way to engage the Moron in Chief. I thought they were suppose to be cutting costs?

They only claim to be cutting costs. What they are really doing is moving money from public pockets to private ones. Trump's $45M Birthday Parade is one example.

The whole Elon-Trump combo along with Elon's departure has sparked a lot of conversations. The PR is that Elon is leaving to focus on the damage he's done to Tesla, but do to his recent comments on the subject, another reason may include the fact he became frustrated in cutting the budget then seeing Trump back his $3T deficit BBB to fund tax cuts for the rich.

He also achieved what he wanted, getting rid of the investigations into his companies, stealing our data for his data center and securing large contracts for SpaceX and Skylink.
