The Pursuit of Happiness

By a fraction? Sure.

The conditions of 1930s Germany and 2025 USA are widely different. I predict a lot of dead MAGAts if there's violence.
Yeah, they are different in many respects. But the Trump cultists have a lot in common with the people who felt disenfranchised in 1930s Germany. Left out. Left behind. Feeling isolated. Looking for someone/something to blame for their problems. Along comes a charismatic leader who is going to deliver them from their troubles. Attacks the groups and institutions that are responsible. Uses fear and intimidation as a weapon. Destabilizes democratic institutions.

The similarities are there.

Yes, but they are in the minority. Loudmouths who, if they become violent, should be neutralized with extreme prejudice. Even if just an old, bitter fuckwit in a wheelchair. Take them down. Lots of ways to do it, especially in the confusion of a civil war.

Java Man is where I go to speculate on human behavior. He's one million years old and only survived what could be a fractured femur or some type of bone disease with the help of his tribe.

To me this is as close as we can get to concrete virtue. Any arguments?
