It seems like the network chose to self censor. The government took no action, Carr spoke on a podcast about a vague future and the corporation decided that it was best to salt the fields rather than continue to gaslight, there there were literally infinite possibilities and they chose this one. Nobody in the government told them to cancel him, nobody was arrested, nobody at all told them to do what they did, they did this on their own decision.
