I respect your view as well, to which you are certainly entitled. But I do disagree. First of all, it is impossible to cause the many hateful Republicans to 'go away,' so the thing you are advocating for is not achievable. Insulting them clearly isn't going to do it. They are not about to decide to leave. So that leaves us at what?

How do your propose to make them go away?

I don't expect an answer to that because there simply isn't one. The fact is they are here to stay, and they are a part of America. And another fact is that we couldn't have our nation without them. There are so many in the 77 million who are otherwise good productive Americans - cops, capitalists, government workers, military, medical, teaching, legal, journalists, etc, our country would fall flat on it's face if they were to suddenly vanish. The fact is we need them.

So that leaves us with the daunting task of figuring out how to coexist with them.

That is our challenge.

And it won't be surmounted by hatred, name-calling or insults.

Love is the way.

That's what it comes down to.

The people who comprise the party cannot be eliminated. They exist. They hold their views, however disagreeable those views are. We object to them, but it is unclear how we can allow them to remain (which we really don't have much choice about) but cause their party to go away? I see no plausible path to make this happen.
