It's all the Left and Democrats have. They can't point to one political success that resonates with the public since Biden took office. All they have is to go back to tired tropes about Trump--who won't even be on the ticket this time. It might work with their own base who already hates Trump but the other 80 or so percent of voters don't give a damn about him and this TDS bullshit won't have anything but a negative effect on their decisions at the poll. That is, the more the Left and Democrats thrash Trump at this point, the more of a disservice they're doing to their chances to cling tenuously to power go down a toilet bowl.
