How is a renter with a 12 month or 24 month lease affected by inflation?

Inflation and high pump prices are a double whammy for the poor and working class but the democrat party is..I don’t even know what they are anymore. Virtually unrecognizable from where they were even ten years ago.

if your lease is up now, it will be higher next year. Goods and services are all greatly inflated. Most leases have contract language in them that cover owners for inflation and force majure. I only have a few properties but I was covered when raising prices.

You are wrong again. its not about inflation, but demand and supply. If there are no renters waiting to occupy an apartment, rents do not increase.

If demand exceeds supply, prices rise
If supply exceeds demand, prices fall.
 
"Inflation is just a blip, dont worry" is going to go down as yet another case of "Are the experts that incompetent, or were they lying yet again?".

Mass inflation did not start under Trump, fuel prices is much of it along with paying people more to sit at home rather than have them working. Guess you have failed as usual to see the work shortage especially truck drivers.

I am sure they have in some areas which have greater demand. In others they are flat. Surely being the economics expert you are, you can understand demand and supply. You cannot take on small area of the country and say something is happening everywhere.
